Protecting What Matters Most
California's wildfire landscape has changed. Insurance carriers are pulling out of high-risk zip codes. Rebuilding costs now exceed coverage limits. Homeowners need more than defensible space and hardened materials. They need an active defense system that can operate on its own when it matters most. That's what we build.
Core Capabilities
Integrated Wildfire Defense
Our proprietary system combines satellite monitoring, on-property cameras, and automated sprinkler defense into a single platform. Detection, escalation, and response happen without manual intervention.
Full-Service Installation
Every project is managed by a licensed California General Contractor. From engineering and permitting to copper piping and automation, we handle the entire build process in-house.
Site-Specific Engineering
No two properties receive the same system. Our team evaluates slope, roof pitch, vegetation density, water pressure, and wind exposure to design coverage that matches the specific risk profile.
Executive Team
Our leadership team brings over five decades of combined experience in construction, irrigation engineering, municipal infrastructure, and wildfire mitigation.

Managing Partner, Systems & Operations
Shawn Gardner brings over 20 years of experience in irrigation design, arboriculture, construction management, and municipal public works. Prior to FireRoofs, he served as Parks Manager for the City of Saratoga, where he directed fire-fuel reduction programs and large-scale infrastructure projects. He leads system design, operational standards, and automation strategy across all deployments.

Walt Mullins
Managing Partner, Build & Installation
Walt Mullins brings over 30 years of experience as a licensed California General Contractor and President of Mullins Construction Inc. His extensive background in high-end custom homebuilding ensures every FireRoofs installation is built to code, precisely engineered for each property, and rigorously tested before the team leaves the site. He oversees all construction integration and field operations company-wide.
Our Work
Every system is custom-engineered, professionally installed, and tested on-site before handoff.
